Description

The most powerful pump in the Hughes range, the HPS5000 features heavy-duty capacity to tackle tougher challenges in the industry and shares critical components with the smaller HPS3000 pump. The 5-cylinder construction features an inherently smooth flow – the flow variation is reduced to less than a third compared to the more common triple arrangement. The close-coupled, gear-driven power end features pressure lubrication, filtration and oil cooling. The SAE 1 adapter housing is available and allows the pump to be flange-mounted to a diesel engine flywheel housing or electric motor, providing extremely compact, perfectly aligned installations and surrounds all moving parts. For maximum hydraulic efficiency, the in-line valve arrangement is designed to minimize unscreened volume and allow for easy on-site removal of all operating components for service while avoiding the negative effects of cyclic stress within the head block. This improved design is capable of high pressure to high volume with exceptional seal, piston and valve life.
