Multiple Users in One Pump, UHP – Ultra High Pressure

The DERC Multi-Purpose Valve has been specially designed and manufactured to enable operation with two high pressure guns or electrically controlled foot valves in a single high pressure unit without affecting the pressure in the guns. The DERC Multi Tool Valve has a maximum working pressure of 2800 bar / 40K and can be fitted to any high pressure unit. This requires external air pressure and 24VDC power. The DERC Multi Tool Valve is mounted on a stainless steel frame that can be mounted next to or above the high pressure unit.

How does it work

The DERC Multi-Purpose Valve has an inlet manifold to connect the high pressure unit, separate it from there and go to the two multimode valves. These valves operate electrically/pneumatically and act as shuttle valves. Valves direct the flow to the consumer or pressureless bypass. Valves are spring return. In case of signal loss or loss of air pressure, the valves will automatically switch to the purge position (safe position).

The DERC Multi Tool Valve works with electrical consumers and signal cables. The electrical system can be modified according to your system, but is delivered as standard with a 2-channel 7-pin EXI system. This means that the remote system from the DERC Multi Tool Valve is intrinsically safe and suitable for the zone 2 area.

The hose between the high pressure unit and the DERC Muli Tool Valve remains under pressure. Optionally, the DERC Multi Tool Valve can be connected to the high pressure unit with a signal cable so that the unit can be depressurized when both guns are disabled.
