Safety System Between Pump and Tool
The DERC Portable Rupture Disc Holder is a safety system between the pump and the used instrument. When the tool you want to use has a lower maximum working pressure than your high pressure pump, you can mount the Portable Rupture Disc Holder between the pump and the tool.
The DERC Rupture Disc Holder holds a rupture disc that has a certain maximum pressure before it ruptures. When the pressure rises higher than the rupture disk allows, the rupture disk ruptures, causing an immediate drop in system pressure. Therefore, it never exceeds the maximum pressure of the installed rupture disc.
The DERC Rupture Disk Holder should always be closed with the insulating wire and the associated rupture gasket after the rupture disk is in place. This way safety is ensured and it is always clear what type of rupture disc is mounted in the holder.
The portable version is available in two versions with a working pressure of 1000 or 1500 bar: M24 and M36 in/out.
