X-Y Positioning Solutions

High pressure water jet is applied for cleaning heat exchangers (pipe bundles) and all kinds of surfaces. As automated systems such as tube bundle cleaning machines, flexible lance machines and drilling machines entered the market and took over manual work, jobs had to be located on the X and Y directions.

Frames can be pneumatic, hydraulic or electrically operated. Positioning can be done visually or even with PLC control. Some examples are listed below.

X-frame or 3-TLE for flexible lance machines
Easy to use for vertical heat exchangers. It is placed on the heat exchanger with the help of two scaffolding pipes and X-cars. Electrical positioning via X direction and manual positioning via Y direction. Aluminum and stainless steel construction.

X-Y frames for flexible lances, finger drills, surface preparation or 3-TLE
X-Y frames for both horizontal and vertical applications. Strong positioning in the X-Y direction. Automatic return possible. Aluminum and stainless steel construction.

Flexible frames for flexible drilling machines and LTC machines
X-Y frame for both horizontal and vertical applications. Adjustable (flexible) to suit any application/job. Aluminum and stainless steel construction.
